ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Ashleigh le Gal: Ashleigh is interested in the documentation of historically significant subjects. In her photographic series she explores some of Wellington’s wooden infrastructures in a bid to raise an awareness of their historic and cultural value.
Kitty Howard: Kitty has a passion for portrait photography and is interested in religious paintings and iconography. Her work is a series of images exploring angelic renaissance throughout contemporary portraiture.
Liz Bebbington: Liz is interested in the construction of images, and in particular, combining a picturesque landscape with its polluted context. Her work explores the New Zealand landscape and how it may not be as ‘clean and green’ as once thought.
