Farsite Gallery is a community art gallery run by Hutt Valley Community Arts (HVCA).
Our services include:
- a Petone-based art gallery providing a variety of exhibition opportunities for local visual and craft artists.
- monthly artist forums offering advice and networking opportunities
- promotional opportunities for local artists
- community art projects in and for Lower Hutt
We exhibit the work of individuals and groups in our community and welcome emerging and outsider artists, as well as more established artists.

"Autumn Kaleidographs" |
19 May–8 June 2008 "Autumn Kaleidographs" is a series of photographs taken by Catherine Pinal with the aid of a child's toy kaleidoscope. |
"Across the Spectrum" |
1 April–4 May 2008 "Across the Spectrum" is an exhibition by the artists from Petone Arthouse that represents the diversity and talent of this group. |
"Expressions of the Valley" |
12 February–30 March Farsite Gallery is starting the year with an open entry exhibition, “Expressions of the Valley”. Open to any medium or style, the only restriction is the artwork in someway reflects the theme. It could be the stunning landscape, the people or issues that are important within the Hutt Valley. |
